These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MyCoop’s platform, services, website, and mobile applications (“Services”). By registering as a member, logging in, or using any part of MyCoop, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using MyCoop, you agree to comply with these Terms as well as our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you should discontinue use of our Services.
2. Eligibility
You must meet the following conditions to use MyCoop:
- Be an individual eligible for cooperative membership
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Be legally capable of entering contracts
- Comply with the cooperative’s constitution, bylaws, and operational rules
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to:
- Ensure all registration information is accurate and updated
- Keep your password secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Use of Services
MyCoop provides tools for:
- Membership registration and management
- Savings, contributions, and dividend tracking
- Financing applications and status monitoring
- Viewing cooperative announcements and statements
You must use the Services only for lawful and authorised purposes.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Upload malicious files, scripts, or malware
- Attempt to hack, bypass security, or disrupt the system
- Access accounts that are not yours
- Use the platform for fraudulent or illegal activities
6. Financing Applications
Financing eligibility, approval, and repayments are subject to the cooperative’s policies, assessment criteria, and governing regulations.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee approval
- Additional documents may be required
- False information may result in rejection or legal action
7. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to ensure accuracy, MyCoop does not warrant that information, statements, or calculations shown on the platform are error-free. Final amounts (e.g., dividends, contributions, financing balances) may be subject to audit and cooperative verification.
8. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with the PDPA Malaysia, GDPR principles, and other applicable laws. For full details, refer to our Privacy Notice.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform content, trademarks, logos, system designs, databases, and software are owned by MyCoop or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.
10. System Availability
We strive to maintain uninterrupted access to the platform, but we do not guarantee:
- Continuous uptime
- Absence of errors, bugs, or downtime
- Compatibility with all devices or browsers
Maintenance, upgrades, or outages may occur without prior notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyCoop shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data or revenue
- Errors or defects in computations or statements
- Unauthorized access caused by factors outside our control
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Provide false information
- Pose a security or fraud risk
- Are inactive beyond cooperative policy limits
13. Updates to These Terms
We may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and applicable cooperative regulations. Disputes may be escalated to the cooperative board or relevant authorities.
